Optymun

Ash Potter – Drake AKA OPTYMUN is a 19 year old producer from East Sussex, England who started mixing as a hobby after college with a couple of mates in 2011. After failing his AS levels, he took the opportunity to turn his hobby into education by restarting college studying Music.

Over the past 2 years Optymun has got more involved in the Drum & Bass scene in Brighton, helping start his own club night ‘Hard Riddims’ in the summer of 2013, to eventually playing on multiple nights, and getting his first tune ‘Infected’ signed to ‘Serotone Recordings’ with help from label Co-owner ‘Rivalize’ in the early stages of 2014. Optymun has also played multiple times on the award winning radio station ‘Rough Tempo’ as a guest on The Serotone Show and more recently formed an alliance with fellow producer ‘Al Capone’ and called themselves THE SUSPECTS. Their debute set will be at the ‘Let It Roll Festival 2014′, Europes largest DnB festival in the Czech Republic, along with multiple shows on Rough Tempo leading up to the event. Expect lots of new music from both OPTYMUN and THE SUSPECTS forthcoming on Serotone Recordings and else where soon.
