Trouble

Brighton born and raised DJ/Producer Trouble has been a frequent DJ in the south coast drum & bass scene, spanning around 10 years. After working for the legendary Brighton event Meltdown/Mini-melt, doors really started opening for this young new talent. He started gaining early recognition as a DJ for his explosive unique style, quick mixing skills and monstrous tune selection, and soon played frequently at events such as Meltdown, Legends of the dark black, Rebel beats, Spiritual element and Movement
amongst others.

As his passion grew, so did his reputation behind the wheels of steel and the versatile selector soon earned DJ sets at events/raves such as the world famous and legendary Metalheadz, Renegade hardware, Virus, Dread and The full moon party (Thailand) to name a few.

After playing alongside every major Producer in the world of Drum & Bass, from the like’s of Goldie, Andy C to chart topper DJ Fresh, it soon became even more clear to do the inevitable and focus on music production, which was always his plan and vision as a youngster.

After countless days and nights writing tracks, Trouble teamed up with fellow local DJ Maniac, they began to write tracks together and also started playing out on a regular basis as a duo. Both having the same style and equal love for the music they make, they soon released “septic” and “oxygen” on Bad sector recordings.

After these releases, their talent got picked up by Ray Kieth, a pioneer in Jungle Drum & Bass and got signed to his legendary imprint Dread Recordings. Firstly they featured on Dub dread 5 mix compilation with what was the highly anticipated “septic vip” which saw them top the trackitdown charts at number 1!

forthcoming releases see him on the Jungle Rollerz Label with a remix of Necrotype’s “stranger” due out very soon!

Aswell as working alongside Maniac, Trouble has of late started to explore new grounds and has been producing tracks solo, delving into and exploring different sub genre’s of D&B.

He has his first full release due out in November 2015 in the form of the double A side “Parallel universe” and “Hanna”, both tracks are due for release on the fairly new respected and brilliant Serotone Recordings.

With plenty of music in the pipeline, explosive DJ sets and his pure passion and vibe for the music, the future has never looked brighter for DJ Trouble!
